ANS -- an assortment

I've been trying to send out stuff to you people, but it's bouncing back, just like it did once before.  I don't know what causes it.
So I am going to send you URLs to the articles and see if that works.

Here is a fairly short article about how to transform the economy.  I have no idea if this has any chance of working, it's not even explained clearly, but I thought you might want to consider it. Is it a hare-brained scheme or genius? In the comments, people came up with both questions and suggestions.
What if we declared ALL salaries would be minimum wage?

Some hopeful news about the transition to renewable power making progress.

This is interesting.  It's not really a UBI, but It can act like one for poor people. There was a lot of argument about it in the comments.  I thought it was interesting to see what other countries are doing.

Here's an article from Scientific American.  They went back and checked, and most of the climate modals from 1970 thru 2007 were actually correct.  Some of them said we would warm faster than we have, not because the model was wrong, but because the data supplied to the model was wrong.  They were estimating based on us still using hydrochlorofluorocarbons.  We actually made a positive difference!
