Fw: Talking about public employees ANS

I got this from one of our readers, but I also heard it on the radio.  It's a very good analogy.

The resentment against the retirement pensions some public employees get is ridiculous.  People should see that THEY deserve a pension too, rather than taking the pension away from others.  But they don't see it.  Here's the best way I've seen to illustrate the issue:  Three people are sitting at a cafeteria table.  A corporate CEO, a tea partier, and a union person.  The waiter puts a plate of twelve cookies down.  The CEO takes 11 of them and then says to the tea party person  "Watch that union guy, he's trying to take your cookie."
