The Obameter: Tracking Obama's Campaign Promises ANS

Here is the Obameter again, just to remind you that he is still doing very well.  It seems to me that the broken promises are mostly the ones that got into the news, the media attention cycle, enough for the Republicans to actively block the promise from being kept.  Remember, he still doesn't have a Democratic majority in the Senate, at least not one big enough to counter a filibuster.  That's where you come in: do anything you can to INCREASE the real Democratic majority in the Senate (there are a few DINOs -- that's Democrat in name only -- in the Senate who vote with the Republicans.)  Then he'll get even more done.  and no, he's not liberal enough for me, but he's a lot better than anyone to the right of him.
Please ask your friends who are going to "stay home" at the 2012 election not to, and to vote for the Democratic candidate, because we would be right back to the Bush years if they win.  We are on the cusp of a new Era, and it is crucial which side gets in power. The Big Question for this generation, this era, is "Which is more important, money or people?"  and so far, money is winning.  I don't want to live in that world.  do you?  Yes, Obama is too centrist.  If he was any farther to the left he would have been assassinated by now, like the Kennedys.  This goes for the California race for Governor also -- The Democrat would be so superior to the Republican candidate that it would be like a different world.  If you have been watching reality rather than listening to propaganda in the last twenty years, you will know that it is now the Democrats that are fiscally conservative and socially liberal, while the Republicans have become socially conservative and fiscally radical.  Don't listen to the hype --look at who has balanced the budgets, and who has helped The People more.  Sure, no one is perfect -- how would someone perfect get elected? or want to?  George Washington said, (and I quote from memory) " Anyone who wants the job of President doesn't deserve it."
