How We Are Fucking Up Trump's Plans
Proof you are making a difference

Stop lying.
I'm tired of people lying and saying that democrats and liberals do nothing. That we aren't making a difference. It's not true.
The lie has been going on for years and I understand why. Our country has moved wildly to the right and we are currently facing a fascist dictatorship. So it seems like democrats are doing nothing and that Trump is allowed to do whatever he wants.
This isn't true.
For once, I have proof that we are fucking up some of Trump's plans. We are in a unique situation right now because he just ended his first one hundred days.
Trump doesn't admit when he has failed. It's essential to his dictator/fascist image that you believe that whatever he wants and says automatically happens. You must believe he is all powerful and always succeeds, that he is unstoppable, so you will submit to him and stop trying to fight him.
In order for a country to be taken over by a dictatorship, the people must feel powerless against it because we greatly outnumber him, so he creates the illusion that everything he wants, he gets.
But let's actually analyze what he has succeeded at and failed at. We can do this because Project 2025 wasn't a blue print for his entire presidency. It was only a blue print for his first one hundred days.
So unlike any other time, we can actually look at what he succeeded and failed at because we have all the information in our hands.
I kept an image that was passed around during the election that summarizes Project 2025. When you look at it, you'll see that republicans tried to do all of these things, you'll recognize all of it as current events, but also that republicans didn't succeed at a lot of them because people complained, protested, and resisted.
Here's the image…

Let's go through each point and whether or not he was able to do these things…
(Follow along using the image.)
- Trump did not end no fault divorce.
- He did not succeed at banning every form of abortions and didn't get rid of contraceptives. Republicans have been trying through the states to go through the courts to do these things, but it's moving slowly and policies aren't being implemented at a national level.
- Trump did succeed at fucking up our taxes in a lot of ways, for the poor and favoring the rich, but our workers' unions have been too strong for him to touch. They're still around.
- Republicans repeatedly threatened to end Social Security and Medicare, but this made everyone angry. Democrats in Congress made sure there was funding for these things, so they couldn't end them. People complained and wrote to politicians extensively about it. Republicans tried to put out a lot of propaganda about how only people who are greedy and scammers need money from these programs, but they forgot that average people weren't millionaires and billionaires, so no one bought that lie. The plan to do this is currently abandoned, although they've gotten rid of a lot of workers in these sectors to make it harder to sign up for them.
- Trump's weird tariff ideas fucked up people's retirements so bad and so they didn't actually do much with the retirement age because I think people might have rioted at that point.
- Trump did raise drug prices by eliminating what Joe Biden did to lower them.
- He also clearly wanted to end the ACA but can't do that because it's a law.
- Mostly he has been trying to attack these socialist parts of the government by firing everyone in the department that runs them so there's no one left to actually do anything and only hiring people who are loyal to him to help him be dictator. But that has resulted in lawsuits, people refusing to leave, and him having to hire a lot of people back because he didn't like the consequences of them being gone.
- Linda McMahon hasn't destroyed the department of education. It's crippled but still around. She's not as problematic as a lot of his other choices for cabinet members.
- Oklahoma by itself has been pushing for taxes to fund religious schools. They are allowing it to happen in their state, but it's being challenged in the Supreme Court right now. Even if they succeed, taxes still will not be used to fund religious schools in most states. This is where being involved in local political stuff matters because Trump isn't doing any of this. It's Oklahoma republicans doing it and they're being challenged by liberal lawyers right now, which is making a difference.
- A few states are putting religious curriculum in schools right now, but not the majority of them. This will probably be fought in the Supreme Court as well since it's against the Constitution.
- They did successfully (and disgustingly) end the free school lunch program. Trump loves starving children while trying to force people to have babies.
- Trump wrote executive orders ending civil rights protections and DEI in the government, but it didn't do much. He can not end the Civil Rights Act because it's a law, so this was just to trick you into thinking he did succeed when he failed. All he was able to do was to take mentions of minority and oppressed groups in society off of government websites because the executive branch runs those sites. He erased the "T" in LGBT. He took out mentions of black people who have achieved great things in history. This is part of his propaganda campaign to try to make people not care about these groups.
- He tried to get rid of education about gender and slavery in schools. Some schools in conservative areas complied with him, but a lot are fighting him, especially Harvard and refusing to comply no matter how much pressure he puts on them.
- Marriage equality still fully exists. Republicans haven't been able to reverse or effect any of it. Same sex marriage is still around and no one has been forced into conversion therapy, which they said in Project 2025 that they wanted to do. Also interracial marriage still exists and is protected by law.
- JD Vance has been trying to promote traditional families really hard right now and make promises to them, but so far, it's all talk and nothing else. So again, they failed.
- Unfortunately, Trump put a lot of people to death very soon into his presidency to expedite capital punishment, so he succeeded at that.
- Trump has poked a lot of holes in regulations and environment protections. He's backed out of treaties and other things.
- Trump has also shrunk the FBI some, but the FBI and Homeland Security are still going strong.
- Trump hasn't been able to use the military to break up any protests even though there are a TON of them every day. People have been really peaceful and strong against him (except maybe with the Tesla protests), so he hasn't been able to justify using the military, even though JD Vance, Elon Musk, and him like to accuse protesters of being terrorists sometimes. We've been protesting so hard and strong against him and being so mean to Republican candidates in town halls that they are scared to rile us up more at this point, I think.
- Unfortunately, Trump has been able to use ICE to be above the law and mass deport a bunch of people to concentration camps illegally. But ICE also keeps fucking up by threatening to deport people who aren't even immigrants and drawing a lot of criticism and lawsuits from their behavior.
- Trump has completely failed to end birth right citizenship. It's part of the Constitution and a lot of people are legally opposing him on this, even though he tried to declare it as over.
- He did successfully implement a new Muslim ban.
- A lot of federal agencies like the FDA and the EPA have been shrunk a lot but they are still around. He messed them up with firing and defunding, but didn't eliminate them from existence. He was only able to do this much because they are part of the executive branch, which he controls.
- He added no one to the Supreme Court but did appoint some new right wing judges in lower courts because this is something presidents can do.
He was supposed to fully complete all of these things in his first one hundred days because presidents usually do more in that time than any other time of their presidency. It's a critical period of their presidency.
Do you see how he either completely failed at or we successfully delayed him doing a lot of these things?
Republicans hit us with so much at once. They never admit when they tried to do something and it didn't work, so we become convinced that they are succeeding at everything all of the time.
This is 100% not true and why we have to keep fighting.
And it's why you have to have faith that this is how things are going with all his plans because we wouldn't have even known that Trump failed this much if they hadn't released Project 2025 for everyone to see ahead of time.
And unfortunately, we don't have his plans for the next one hundred days so we can look back and see how much we messed them up.
We just have to keep going and keep believing that it makes a difference.
